Water Outage Update

3:10pm

Per our Operators after the meeting with the City of Okmulgee:

"After our meeting today with Okmulgee I would plan on being out of water for a week..hoping for sooner but we are gaining a little psi if Okmulgee has any more problems they will start shutting districts off and let each system build one at a time."

At this time we do not have any new information on when the water will be restored. The City of Okmulgee is having a meeting today at 10:30am with the Rural Water District's and others to discuss the current water situation. As soon as we have any new information we will update it here to our website.

Low Water Pressure/No Water Pressure

February 19, 2021

**Update** Per the City of Okmulgee, we turned off our water source from Okmulgee at 10:00am this morning for approximately 2 1/2 hours to help them build pressure in their system. However, since turning our pumps back on, the water pressure coming in from Okmulgee is still extremely low. They are asking for all of our customers to please conserve water as much as possible and if you have a leak please fix your water leaks. Also, if you happen to find a water leak on the District's side please contact the District and let us know.

Okmulgee is not giving us much water due to them having problems. Our 2nd water source comes from Henryetta and they had a problem as well...as soon as one of our sources can get us pressure then our system should start to build up.

We have a potable water tank that is available from 8am-5pm at the water office if you have water containers that you would like to fill. We also have one pallet of water that was just delivered to distribute.
